SINGLE VARIETY OLIVE OILS

Orfeu is launching a new line of olive oils.

But the truth is, absolutely nothing has changed in the liquid itself. Orfeu olive oils continue to be produced artisanally, on a very small scale, by the hands of people passionate about the land and the olive grove. Cultivation and production take place in the most natural way possible, respecting the productive cycles of growth, flowering, and ripening of the olives, to preserve in Orfeu olive oil something very rare to find: the unparalleled wonders that nature offers when humans allow it.

Orfeu is expanding its portfolio, bringing new 250ml bottles.

The intense and aromatic notes of Orfeu olive oils, provided by olive trees that grow above 1,250 meters of altitude, in a privileged terroir with volcanic soil and low temperatures, can now be found in the best emporiums and markets, now in smaller bottles, but still manually bottled. The special Blend da Safra olive oils and eventual micro-lots, in turn, will be kept in the 350 ml bottles already known to our consumers.

Orfeu's characteristics differentiate it even from great European olive oils.

Thanks to this fortunate conjunction of factors – especially the extraordinary terroir and the excellence of production – the flavors of Orfeu olive oils exhibit a rare complexity of aromas and notes, provoking distinct sensations that go beyond the spectrum of intense green notes, as in the case of excellent European olive oils, to orchestrate a dance that also explores the freshness of flowers and fruits, with notes of guava, pear, and other particularities, which has been surprising experienced and demanding palates.

"Volcanic soil is rockier and more aerated soil, characteristics that provide a richer and more diversified soil microbiota. This richness of living microorganisms translates into a rare complexity of aromas in the final product." Alexandre Magno, Orfeu agronomist.

Brazil's most awarded olive oil and the first in the world to receive Rainforest certification in 2023.

Orfeu's mill is located in the heart of Fazenda Rainha, surrounded by olive groves, and this allows the olives to arrive very fresh, with all their qualities and aromas preserved, to be transformed into Brazil's most awarded olive oil. Orfeu olive oil is produced by careful hands of people who not only work but also live on the farm, amidst lush, abundant nature, which holds the science of life in its seeds. A nature that is valued and respected by the entire community. As a result of all this care, consciousness, and sensitivity in production, Orfeu was the first olive oil in the world to receive Rainforest certification, a seal that recognizes sustainable impact actions at all stages of the production chain.

For each variety of Orfeu olive oil, a personality. And for each personality, a signature.

The new line maintains the same olive varieties already known to Orfeu consumers: Arbequina, Picual, Koroneiki, and Arbosana.

And, as each variety has its own identity, a unique personality, each one has a different signature on its packaging, like that of an artist, but also like the gesture each person makes when serving themselves a drizzle of olive oil.

The same exceptional olive oil as before, of limited and artisanal production, will now be able to accompany more dinners, tables, recipes, and special gatherings.

With a more youthful and dynamic approach, the new line of Orfeu olive oils has this purpose: to reach more people, delight new palates, offer a superior quality, intense, and flavorful product to everyday gastronomy lovers.
