GINGER TÔNICA

GINGER TONIC

As temperatures rise, so do our cravings for colder, more refreshing, and citrusy drinks. Our go-to for summer days is a refreshing drink made with ginger and Orfeu. Check it out here

Ingredients

  • 100ml water.
  • 100g sugar.
  • 50g grated ginger.
  • Orfeu Intense Drip Coffee.
  • 40ml ginger syrup.
  • 100ml tonic water.
  • Ice.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes.

Serving: 1 glass.

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix the sugar and water until dissolved.
  2. Heat and, when it starts to boil, add the ginger.
  3. Cook for 3 minutes, strain, and set aside in the refrigerator.
  4. Brew the Orfeu Intense Drip Coffee using 100ml of hot water.
  5. Perform the pre-infusion, pouring water in a circular and continuous flow until half of the filter is wet.
  6. Wait 15 seconds and complete with the remaining water, always in a circular and continuous flow to the rim, filling the filter completely.
  7. Fill a glass halfway with ice, add the ginger syrup, tonic water, and finally, the coffee.
  8. Mix gently before serving and enjoy!
