Just like in the wine world, known for its richness of denominations, geography, stories, and flavors, the world of Specialty Coffees also holds its secrets and specificities.
And the number of people interested in deeply understanding each bean variety is growing. In the wine universe, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir are some of the grape varieties. When enjoying a good wine, we know that each variety has particular characteristics, flavors, and aromas.
The same happens with coffee. Natural cross-breeding has given rise to over a hundred varieties, such as Arara, Bourbon Amarelo, Japy, Catucaí, Acauã, among others. Each with its own sensory specificities.
Normally, these coffees are available to consumers through blends, mixtures of beans from different varieties, with the aim of achieving a more balanced sensory result.
This process is very common, efficient, and is present, for example, in the Orfeu Clássico, Intenso, and Descafeinado lines. However, coffee lovers want to appreciate the best of each variety.

ARARA
It is a coffee with a velvety body, high sweetness, and balanced acidity. It presents notes of brown sugar, sugarcane juice, and coffee honey. Medium-light roast.
ACAUÃ
It is a balanced coffee with a creamy body, high sweetness, and acidity. Its finish is striking: it brings notes of clove and cinnamon. Medium-light roast.
JAPY
It is an intense and creamy coffee, with high sweetness and delicate acidity. It has aromatic notes of dark chocolate, chestnut, and hazelnut. Medium roast.
