In celebration of Brazilian culture, Orfeu, in partnership with Vinícius de Moraes' daughters, Georgiana and Maria Gurjão, launched a special edition in 2021 dedicated to the eternal poet and composer Vinícius de Moraes, one of the greatest artists of Brazil and the world. With the aim of extolling his history, Orfeu produced an exceptional blend for a sensory experience worthy of his legacy.
The coffee chosen to represent the poet's unique and brilliant personality was an Arara variety. A sweet beverage, without bitterness and with soft acidity. With aromatic notes of tropical fruits and an enchanting finish. Simple and extraordinary. Thus representing some of Vinícius' characteristics as a sweet, kind, and friendly person.
In addition to all the care and dedication in choosing this Microlot, Orfeu also challenged itself to represent Vinicius in its packaging. To evoke the feelings and emotions that his poems conveyed, they had the idea of incorporating various excerpts from his poetry, carefully selected together with the poet's daughters. There are more than ten excerpts that formed a true mural of poems on supermarket shelves. May it be infinite while it lasts.
