In celebration of Brazilian culture, Orfeu, in partnership with artist Vinicius de Moraes' daughters, Georgiana and Maria Gurjão, launched a special edition in 2021 dedicated to the eternal poet and composer Vinicius de Moraes, one of Brazil's and the world's greatest artists. With the aim of highlighting his story, Orfeu produced an exceptional blend for a sensory experience worthy of his legacy.
The coffee chosen to represent the poet's unique and brilliant personality was of the Arara variety. A sweet drink, without bitterness and with soft acidity. With aromatic notes of tropical fruits and a charming finish. Simple and extraordinary. Thus representing some of Vinicius' characteristics, who was a sweet, kind, and friendly person.
In addition to all the care and dedication in choosing this Microlot, Orfeu also challenged itself to represent Vinicius in its packaging. To rescue the feelings and emotions that his poems conveyed, they had the idea of incorporating various excerpts from his poems, carefully selected together with the poet's daughters. There are over ten excerpts that formed a true mural of poetry on supermarket shelves. May it be infinite while it lasts.
