MICROLOTS ORFEU

No two coffee beans are ever the same. But some turn out to be true rarities. By some mystery of nature, the beans from certain plots stand out from the rest due to their unique sensory characteristics. Sporadically, Orfeu's Q-Graders are surprised by singular flavors and aromas. These rarities are transformed into Microlots – super-exclusive and limited editions. Of the 100% Arabica species, they are hand-picked at a minimum altitude of 1100 meters on the Sertãozinho group's farms.



It is only possible to find these beans and give them the recognition they deserve because the producers deeply know every square meter of the farms that produce all varieties of Orfeu coffee. Since 2005, when the brand entered the specialty coffee market, its purpose was already defined: to cultivate the highest possible quality beans and keep them in our country for consumption by Brazilians. Orfeu managed to turn this dream into reality by developing processes that combine cutting-edge technology with irreplaceable, meticulous artisanal work, performed by specialists and monitored in detail for constant improvement of techniques.

The farms are divided into small plots, which allow us to precisely understand the specificities of each area regarding sun exposure, climatic impact, altitude, and bean variety.

Every week, producers and Q-Graders taste the coffee produced with beans from each plot, identifying their specific characteristics.
